We Nepalese are going to participate in Pako Festa – the Biggest of its kind in Australia – second time and that will be in Geelong on 22nd of February to promote Nepal as the country of the Mt. Everest and the Buddha. Nepal is one of the richest countries from cultural diversity view point. So come with your ethnical dress, if any and if you want, to make our participation more colourful and to show unity in diversity. Come with flag, musical instruments if you have any and show your talent.
Street stalls 9am-6pm Pakington Street, Geelong West.
Pako Festa Parade 11 am – 12 noon.
So arrive before 11 so that you will not have parking problem. More than 1 lakh people will be there and participation from more than 34 countries. They will allocate us particular place and definite time and the time will be before 11 am so that we can prepare before to start parade. I will let you know immediately after receiving the allocation information. Our parade order will be like this:
Ø LAKHE NACH
Ø Enough gap to dance for LAKHE
Ø Second line Banner. Miss Nepal Australia 2012 Deepashree Shaha with Kumari dress, Buddha (somebody will become Buddha), Consulate General, NAV President, NRN Victoria Coordinator and couple of more will hold Lumbini-Kapilvastu Day Movement banner

After parade short speech by
Ø Consulate General HE Chandra Yonjan
Ø NAV President Bom Yonjan and
Ø NRN Victoria Coordinator Rishi Kandel.
Nepalese dance (Manjushree dance) will be at 3:30 pm on West Park Stage
According to doctor’s suggestion Deepashree Shah is not allowed to dance due to some reasons. Because of very short notice Pratibha Mishra will not be able to manage her time. Actually we need to show Manjushree dance. If anybody will be able to perform Manjushree dance it would be GREAT HELP to our community. If not possible Manjushree, Kumari or whatever will be ok. If somebody able to do that pls let me know ASAP in 0415040009. Otherwise I need to request to cancel our national representation on West Park Stage. Nepalese dance (Manjushree dance) will be at 3:30 pm on West Park Stage.
Last year media coverage links of our first time participation, if you want to go through:
