Logo for International ConferenceStayAn emergency meeting of the International Conference Main Organizing Committee on “World Peace City Lumbini, Nepal” that was scheduled to organize in Brussels, Belgium on 4th and 5th of May, 2015 has decided to postpone the conference due to the dreadful   earthquake in Nepal. The meeting decided to organize the conference in the same venue on November 30 and December 1, 2015.

This time the whole world thoughts are with the people of Nepal in the aftermath of the brawny earthquake ((7.9-8.0 Richter Scale Magnitudes) that has struck most of the part of Nepal at 11.56 AM (07:56 AM GMT) on 25th April, 2015. After that there are series of small and big earthquakes.

It is understandable that very many lives have been lost. There has also been significant damage to Nepal’s most of irreplaceable amazing cultural heritage and some of bridges are collapsed: Roads, electricity, water supply and telephone lines are disrupted. The reports of the devastation are terrible and still coming in and the numbers of people killed, injured and affected by this earthquake continue to rise.

If there’s anything stronger than Natural forces though, it will always be the will of the human spirit. Let’s all pray for the victims.

On behalf of the Movement, we express our deepest condolences to everyone affected, particularly to the families and friends of those killed and injured. I would like to request all Movement activists to contribute from their place and capacity in this critical moment. May God grant strength, courage, comfort, and assistance to victims’ families and loved ones, injured, rescuers and relief workers.
